I think my teachers are starting to wonder about me with all these weird creations. XD
Ok, did this in my ceramics class. We had to make a pedestal bowl and well, I never seem to do things the easy way. Everyone just made a tube and attached it to the bottom of the bowl and I did this.
Let's see, the hand has three fingers and a thumb. And the bowl was suppose to look like wood. It looked much better before I glazed it. I even put scales in the hand but the glaze covered them up. I really want to draw that hand, it was so much fun making it that I just want to draw it now.
Look at the huge crack. I can't believe it broke. The thumb broke off it and the bowl came off as well. What I don't believe is that the thumb was my original piece of clay. The fingers were attached. I would've figured one of them would've broken off, not the thumb. And my teachers cannot put anything back together. I wish they would just give it to the students and let us handle that. We know what it looked like in the first place. But yeah, since she decided to put it back together for me, it now has a huge crack in it. I'm planning on getting out the hot glue gun or something and filling in that crack. I also have to file down that white spot where the thumb laid on the ground on the kiln so that it will smooth out and then I can do a touch up.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
